A veteran television producer who was a part of three Daytime Emmy wins for outstanding drama series as senior producer on CBS’s “The Bold and the Beautiful” has died, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Ron Weaver died Thursday at his home in Los Angeles at 75, the piece reports.

Weaver joined the show as an associated producer in 1986 and rose to senior producer, overseeing the show’s day-to-day operations. He then became the vice president of BBL Inc., the show’s distribution arm, where he worked on international sales, operations and promotion.

He left the show in April, the story adds. Before moving to “The Bold and the Beautiful,” he spent 13 years at Children’s Television Workshop, where he was a part of the original production team that created “Sesame Street,” “The Electric Company,” “3-2-1 Contact,” “Feeling Good” and “The Best of Families,” the story reports.
