The last two of the CW’s current series to receive renewals have been announced. Deadline.com reports that the channel renewed "The Carrie Diaries" and "Nikita."

"Carrie" will return for a 13-episode order as a midseason show, while "Nikita" will return for a six-episode run, the piece notes. It’s likely to be the last season for "Nikita," although if the short season works, it could return for additional runs as a limited series, the report adds.
