The star of an ABC Family series revealed Monday that the cable network has canceled the show. Deadline.com reports that "The Lying Game" star Alexandra Chando tweeted that ABC Family is pulling the plug on the teen-focused drama after its second season.

The show is based on Sara Shepard’s books about a foster child who learns she has an identical twin sister, who was adopted by a wealthy family. The cable network had been waiting to see how its summer series performed before making a decision on the show, the story notes.
