Asiana Airlines has opted not to sue KTVU-TV over the TV station’s reporting blunder, reports Deadline.com.

The story says, "Asiana Airlines has had a change of heart. Earlier this week, the carrier said it planned to sue local San Francisco Fox affiliate KTVU after the channel erroneously identified the pilots in the July 6 crash of Asiana flight 214 by four prank names.

"Today, however, the Seoul-based company said it was nixing those plans. ‘Asiana Airlines has decided not to proceed with the case since KTVU has issued a formal apology and in order for us to focus all our efforts on managing the aftermath of the accident,’ said a statement obtained by Reuters."
