Los Angeles Bans Naked ‘Project Runway’ Billboard

Los Angeles has banned the racy new "Project Runway" billboard that features naked models at the feet of hosts Heidi Klum and Tim Gunn, reports TooFab.

As previously reported, Lifetime just released the art for the upcoming 12th season of the show, which will premiere July 18. Click here to see the art.

Lifetime had no comment on the banning of the billboard, The Hollywood Reporter’s Live Feed notes. Besides billboards, the photo was slated to run in magazines and on posters, websites and bus shelters. After Los Angeles deemed the naked version too risque, Lifetime instead will run a version with underwear, TooFab says.

The naked billboard will appear in New York City, however, the piece adds.

  1. Bad for business, the chamber of commerce is right. If you have that billboard up it will distract the eyes of the johns looking for hookers.
