NBC won the broadcast ratings Tuesday night, based on Nielsen overnights for the key 18-49 demo. TVbytheNumbers.com reports that NBC’s overall average, a 2.0 rating in the demo, gave the network a comfortable win on a night when many broadcast networks rolled out repeats and only a few fresh programs aired.

NBC was paced by its two-hour "America’s Got Talent," which rose 4% from last week’s season low to a 2.5 average in 18-49, the best number of the night for any broadcast show. Also on NBC, a fresh episode of "Betty White’s Off Their Rockers" delivered a 1.0 — up 25% from last week’s all-time low for the series.

Fox went with a two-hour "So You Think You Can Dance," which equaled its number from last week — a 1.5 in viewers 18-49.

ABC went up against "Dance" with a two-hour "Extreme Weight Loss," which improved 10% from last week’s season low to deliver a 1.1 in the 18-49 demo. A repeat of "Body of Proof" at 10 p.m. managed only a 0.5.

CBS aired all repeats, but still managed to edge ABC for fourth place among the broadcast nets.

For prime time overall, NBC’s 2.0 led the way in the 18-49 demo, followed by Univision (1.5 average), Fox (1.5), CBS (1.0) and ABC (0.9). NBC also won total viewers, averaging 7.6 million to lead CBS (6.7 million), Fox (4.4 million), Univision (3.8 million) and ABC (3.1 million).
