Report: ‘The Voice’ Turns Down Jennifer Lopez

NBC’s singing competition "The Voice" reportedly turned down an offer from Jennifer Lopez. The New York Post’s Page Six reports that Lopez was rejected after offering to sing for the season finale.

An NBC representative confirmed that Lopez offered to guest star on the show’s finale, but said she wasn’t included because of scheduling issues. Instead, Cher performed on the June finale.

Lopez was hoping to actually end up as a "Voice" mentor, but the program wasn’t interested, the story says. Mentors on the program have included Sheryl Crow, Mary J. Blige and Michael Buble.
