With three reality shows making up a total of six hours of prime-time programming on the broadcast networks Tuesday night, one network, NBC, came away as the clear ratings winner.

NBC’s "America’s Got Talent" was the top show of the night, based on Nielsen overnights, both in total viewers and in the key 18-49 demo. And NBC won the night outright in both categories.

TVbytheNumbers.com reports that "Talent" delivered a 2.5 average rating in viewers 18-49, along with 9.26 million total viewers. Those numbers put it well ahead of Fox’s "So You Think You Can Dance" (1.3 average in the demo with 4.04 million viewers) and ABC’s "Extreme Weight Loss" (1.2 average, 3.89 million), with the NBC show equaling the combined demo number for the other two shows and topping their combined viewer total.

However, both "America’s Got Talent" and "So You Think You Can Dance" were down from last week — "Talent" down 7% in 18-49, "Dance" off 13%. "Extreme Weight Loss" matched its week-ago number, a season high.

CBS aired a lineup of drama repeats and found itself in an unfamiliar position, finishing fifth overall among the broadcast nets in the key demo — but it did have a strong showing in total viewers, placing second overall.

The numbers for prime time overall show NBC on top with a 2.0 average in adults 18-49, followed by Univision (1.3 average), Fox (1.3), ABC (1.0) and CBS (0.9). NBC won total viewers with 7.4 million, ahead of CBS (6.3 million), Fox (4.0 million), ABC (3.5 million) and Univision (3.2 million).
