CBS won Thursday in the adults 18 to 49 demographic on a night when most networks ran repeat programming.

One of the few original programs on the night, CBS’s 8 p.m. (ET) summer reality series “Big Brother: All Stars” scored a 3.4 preliminary national rating among adults 18 to 49, a number that includes live viewing plus same-day viewing by digital video recorders, according to Nielsen Media Research.

That was “Big Brother’s” best Thursday performance in the demo since September 2004. For the summer, “Big Brother” is averaging a 2.7 in the demo, a 7 percent drop from its average last summer (2.9).

The top-rated show for the night was CBS’s 9 p.m. drama repeat “CSI” (3.9), with a “Without a Trace” repeat at 10 p.m. No. 2 with a 3.9.
