HD programming picks for Jan. 10-16: “Blue Angels,” “Conan the Barbarian,” “American Gladiators”
Blue Angels: A Year in the Life” (Discovery HD). Monday, Jan. 10-Sunday, Jan. 13, check for times. Off you go into the wild blue yonder to follow pilots in training, assuming your stomach can handle the ride.
“Conan the Barbarian” and “Conan the Destroyer” (Cinemax). Thursday, Jan. 10, 7:45 p.m. and 10 p.m. Arnold Schwarzenegger battles the likes of James Earl Jones and Wilt Chamberlain, in a loincloth, no less. Premieres in HD.
“American Gladiators” (NBC). Monday, Jan. 14, 8 p.m. Stealth, Fury, Tor and super-yoked pals go medieval on all contestants, assuming there was Spandex in medieval times.
