Scripps Networks has promoted Rhonda Powell to vice president of business affairs. She will oversee the business affairs team servicing Food Network.
Ms. Powell was previously the director of legal affairs for Scripps Networks. She also serves on the company’s Diversity Task Force.
“Rhonda’s keen legal expertise has proven critical in negotiating agreements for the business development group, and in developing internal policies surrounding several significant initiatives to upgrade and expand Scripps Networks’ capabilities for online properties,” Pat Guy, senior VP of business affairs for Scripps, said in a statement.
Before joining Scripps in 2004, Ms. Powell was senior counsel for Reuters America.
