The CW is tweaking the rollout of its new Sunday lineup.
Instead of premiering Sunday, Sept. 21, opposite the Emmys—as originally announced—the network’s MRC-produced programs will now debut Oct. 5. The three shows slotted to bow that night are “In Harm’s Way,” “Valentine” and “Easy Money.”
Reality series “4 Real,” a Canadian acquisition, will debut in the pre-prime-time 5 p.m. slot.
According to a spokeswoman for MRC, the studio opted to make the changes in order to avoid debuting against the Emmys and so that there would be fewer repeats later in the season.
