It’s Official: ‘Disturb’ Is First Cancellation of Fall Season

Fox on Friday confirmed, with no reservations, that it has canceled “Do Not Disturb,” making the show the first casualty of the 5-day-old season.
The network on Thursday had pulled the first-year comedy from its lineup but said it hadn’t made a final decision on the show’s fate. This morning, after mulling all possible scenarios, the network decided it was time to check out of the hotel-based half-hour for good.
“Do Not Disturb,” which hailed from 20th Century Fox TV, averaged 4 million viewers and a 1.6/4 rating among adults 18-49 during its three-week run. A total of seven episodes of the show had been produced.
For now, Fox will fill its 9:30 p.m. Wednesday time slot with another episode of the nearly-as-low-rated “’Til Death.”

  1. Hate to repeat myself, but ‘Til Death has been on for three seasons, outlasting the promising yet flawed Back To You and now Do Not Disturb. How does this show continue? What exactly does that show’s producers have on Fox executives?
