‘Fear’ Flies to Fridays

Jan 23, 2009  •  Post A Comment

The CW is moving new reality series “13: Fear Is Real.”
Starting tonight, original episodes of the horror-themed show will air Fridays at 9 p.m. First-run episodes have been airing on Wednesday nights, where they’ve been getting demolished in the ratings by Fox’s “American Idol.”
Viewers might not notice much of a change, however. Repeats of “Fear” have been running on Fridays for weeks. The difference now is that, instead of repeats, The CW will air original episodes of “Fear” on the night.
As for Wednesday, The CW will be in repeat mode on the night, at least through much of February. That’s because the network is filling “Fear’s” former 8 p.m. Wednesday slot with repeats of “Privileged.” Encores of “90210” continue at 9 p.m. Wednesday.
The CW’s schedule will change again in the coming weeks when “America’s Next Top Model” returns with a new cycle. A new reality series from Mike Fleiss also is in the hopper at The CW.
