Lifetime’s ‘Color’ Scores With Women

Lifetime Movie Network’s original film “What Color Is Love?” averaged 1.6 million total viewers for its debut on Sunday, Jan. 18. That makes it the network’s third highest-rated original film ever among women 18-49 and 25-54.
Sunday night’s telecast of “Love” scored a 1.1 rating and drew 451,000 viewers among women 18-49, with a 1.2 and 463,000 viewers among women 25-54. The movie’s performance was 27% higher than the average for original films in the female 18-49 demographic and 13% higher among women 25-54. Among households the movie scored a 1.9 rating.
“Love” joins the previous films “The Capture of the Green River Killer” and “Little Girl Lost: The Delimar Vera Story” as the highest-rated originals for the network in its 10-year history.
Inspired by true events, “What Color Is Love?” tells the story of an interracial love affair that leads to a high-profile custody battle.
