SAG Awards Hits Ratings Low on TBS, TNT

Sunday night’s simulcast of the Screen Actors Guild Awards on TBS and TNT drew the smallest audience since the two networks began airing them together in 2006.
TNT, which had telecast the show exclusively from 1998 through 2005, posted a 0.9 rating/2 share among adults 18 to 49 and 2.8 million viewers, according to Nielsen live plus same-day viewing.
On TBS, the telecast posted a 1.0/2 and drew 2.5 million viewers. Combined the networks drew more than 5.3 million viewers. The previous low in 2006 drew just over 5.4 million viewers.
Viewership on was down 15% on TNT and 10% on TBS compared with each network’s performance from last year. Overall, the show dropped 12% in viewers from last year.
TNT also aired an encore of the telecast later that evening.
