Sling Media Dials Up iPhone Service

Television technology provider Sling Media will introduce a version of its service for iPhones this quarter, the company announced today at MacWorld in San Francisco.
The SlingPlayer Mobile allows users to access their home TV experience, including local channels, video-on-demand and programs on the digital video recorder, on a mobile phone and soon on iPhones.
Sling also said it’s introducing initial capability to stream hi-def content on Macintosh computers.
