The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Foundation has added several industry executives to its board of directors.
The new board members elected to two-year terms are CBS Entertainment President Nina Tassler, ICM Worldwide Television head Ted Chervin, USA Network and Universal Cable Productions’ Jeff Wachtel and Google’s David Eun.
The foundation oversees the Archive of American Television, College Television Awards and its student internship program.
“To have this caliber of top industry executives serve on the foundation board illustrates just how well this organization’s many worthwhile programs and initiatives are viewed throughout the industry,” Jerry Petry, chairman of the Television Academy Foundation, said in a statement. “We’re excited Nina, Ted, Jeff and David will be able to contribute their incredible energy, expertise and insight to the foundation in 2009.”
