Paramount Digital Entertainment and Gaumont said they are developing an interactive Web series that will be distributed via MySpace in the United States.
“Section 8” is a supernatural thriller that will give viewers a chance to interact with one another, have an impact on how the series plays out and make guesses about how it will conclude.
“It will be as interactive as we can make it,” said Tom Lesinski, president of Paramount Digital Entertainment.
The show will have a cast of unknown actors, but “we think it will have the highest production values that you’ve seen for original content ever online,” he said.
Paramount is lining up advertisers that will be integrated into the series. Advertisers also will have their own interactive activities linked from the series.
Paramount expects to generate revenue through more traditional ad sales, sales of the show on iTunes and other pay video-on-demand sites, DVD sales and syndication both online and on television.
‘There’s about a half a dozen monetization paths for this.” Mr. Lesinski said.
Endemol is handling worldwide distribution, product integration and brand partnerships.
Mr. Lesinski declined to estimate how many people he thought would see “Section 8.”
Paramount Digital’s previous online release, “Jackass 2.5,” reached about 13 million viewers.

  2. hi,
what is your opinion for Wayne Rooney
Will he really leave Old Trafford?
because there is now speculation that the 24 year-old could be on the move. It really wouldn’t surprise me if he did move on after all that’s gone on. However it would need to be abroad if he was to avoid the British media.
