Ian Brotherston has been named Dailymotion’s CEO, replacing Mark Zeleski, who has resigned.
Mr. Brotherston most recently served as commercial director for Red Bee Media, the BBC’s privatized broadcast technology division, where he oversaw strategy, international expansion, new media, sales and marketing, and business growth.
Mr. Brotherston also worked at AT&T and British Telecom, building up 25 years of experience in the media, technology and telecom industries.
“We are delighted to welcome Ian as new CEO. His strong management experience will help shape Dailymotion as we continue our growth and global expansion. Ian’s primary focus will be to lead Dailymotion in its next phase of development,” Benoist Grossmann, partner at AGF Private Equity, said in a statement.
