MySpace Revamps Video Section
To better compete with YouTube, MySpace today relaunched its video section as MySpaceTV, located at www.myspacetv.com.
The renamed site will operate as a beta product for now and will serve as the primary destination for video on MySpace.
MySpaceTV includes a new video user interface, with features such as optimized video search and the ability to create video slide shows, as well as user-generated, premium and exclusive content and a video chart ranking the most popular MySpace videos.
According to comScore Media Metrix, MySpace has increased its number of video streams 100 percent since January, adding 15 million unique streams during that time.
