'Prom Queen' Graduates to Spinoff

Michael Eisner’s Web studio Vuguru will create a spinoff series this summer of its popular “Prom Queen” Web show.

“Prom Queen,” which ended its run this month, was viewed 15 million times online.

The spinoff, “Prom Queen: Summer Heat,” will continue the storyline as it follows the characters to Mexico in the summer following prom night.

The series will run for three weeks in August as 15 two-minute episodes.

Vuguru is producing the show in partnership with production company Big Fantastic.
