Videos-sharing site Revver said it will begin testing impression-based ads on its site starting this month.
The site already offers a clickable ad frame at the end of a video. The new CPM-based ads will allow for pre- and post-roll video ads on the site for the first time.
Advertisers and content owners can use both ad products if they wish. Content creators share ad revenue 50/50 with Revver under both models.
According to Nielsen//NetRatings, Revver attracted 670,000 unique visitors in June, making it the 16th most-visited video-sharing site.
