Third Screen Expands Ad Reach Across U.S.

Mobile phone advertising firm Third Screen Media said it now reaches nearly 50 percent of mobile content subscribers in the U.S., according to data from mobile researcher Telephia. That equates to about 37 million consumers.

The AOL-owned company also said it doubled the number of ad campaigns it delivered on mobile phones in the second quarter compared to a year ago.

Third Screen Media places advertisers across mobile sites for weather, sports, news and social networking. Ad partners include Bank of America, Cisco, Fandango, FedEx Kinkos, MSNBC, Toyota and the Weather Channel.
