MGM Studios has promoted Edie Lauw to VP of worldwide television finance from her previous title of executive director. Her new responsibilities include planning finances and analysis for MGM Worldwide Television. She will provide negotiation analysis for new MGM TV programming, cable, video-on-demand, syndication and made-for-TV films. Joining MGM in 1995 as a financial analyst in the consumer products department, Ms. Lauw later moved to corporate planning in 1997. She began her career as a tax analyst with Teledyne Technologies in Los Angeles. Ms. Lauw earned a bachelor’s degree in business economics from UCLA in 1993.
