AllThingsMedia Aims to Fund Female Entrepreneurs
Women with significant equity in emerging media companies looking for funding now can apply to AllThingsMedia. A new joint venture capital forum formed by the Paley Center for Media and Springboard Enterprises, AllThings aims to help female entrepreneurs gain access to major investors.
AllThingsMedia is part of the Paley Center’s She Made It initiative, launched in 2005 to recognize the successes of women in media.
“We’re looking to support women in the industry in a new way, by helping them get access to the capital and contacts they need to fuel exciting new businesses in all areas of media,” said Paley Center president Pat Mitchell.
Applications will be reviewed in May and June by a committee of media business leaders. Further details and application forms can be found online at: www.springboardenterprises.org/vcf/atm. The deadline for applications is May 5.
