Designating cheesy novelas as the only primetime programming the Spanish community are obligated to view as their only source of entertainment it reflects how little still the television media understands about us.

I personally love novelas and so do millions of Spanish speaking people, which is reflected in the ratings. I find them incredibly entertaining although I wish they were original stories and not remakes. I prefer Univision by far though. Can't remember what the last thing I've seen on Telemundo.
