Arsenio to Host MyNet’s ‘Funniest Moments’

Arsenio Hall is returning to prime-time television as host of “Funniest Moments,” a home-video blooper show for MyNetworkTV.

Mr. Hall hosted and executive produced “The Arsenio Hall Show,” a late-night talk show that ran from 1989-94 and won multiple Primetime Emmys. The actor-comedian had a starring role in the film “Coming to America,” which he also co-wrote. He was a series regular on CBS drama “Martial Law” and hosted the network’s “Star Search” for two seasons.

“Bringing years of comedic experience and timing, both behind and in front of the camera, we are thrilled to welcome Arsenio to the MyNetworkTV schedule,” MyNetworkTV President Greg Meidel said in a statement Tuesday.

The hourlong “Funniest Moments” (working title), produced by Associated Television International, is set to premiere this fall in a 9 p.m. slot on Wednesdays.

I worked with Arsenio on SOLID GOLD at Paramount in the eighties and got to know him well.

He's very talented, professional and "wacked out" for the creative process. A nice combination for him and his audience.

Hey, Arsenio....click on my name.
