LATV Expands Offerings

The National Association of Television Program Executives has announced a master class with writer-producer Chuck Lorre and a keynote by the William Morris Agency’s John Ferriter to the speakers and panelists at its upcoming LATV Festival.

The second annual festival will include multiple panels, sessions and “pitch pits” with writers, executives and producers.

Participants have been announced for the Digital Day, an inaugural event focusing on new media. Sibyl Goldman, general manager of Yahoo Entertainment, is set to moderate a panel including The CW’s Thom Sherman, Alloy Entertainment’s Bob Levy, Warner’s Hiram Norman and “Gossip Girl” co-executive producers/writers Joshua Safran and John Stephens.

Maybe Mr. Lorre could try his hand at drama again sometime soon...that "CSI" episode he and "Men" co-creator Lee Aronsohn wrote was terrific.
