McDonald’s and Geico will sponsor the upcoming installments of CNN’s “Black in America” series, the news network said.
Upcoming portions of the series anchored by Soledad O’Brien are “The Black Women & Family,” airing Wednesday night, and “The Black Man” on Thursday. The sponsorships include encore presentations of the programs airing over the weekend.
“CNN is attracting new category advertisers like McDonald’s and Geico because of our relevant, audience-connecting programs like ‘Black in America,’” said Greg D’Alba, executive VP/chief operating officer of CNN Advertising Sales.
Financial terms of the sponsorships were not disclosed.

The price of a Big Mac meal probably went up, or will soon, with inflation, but hey, we all just saved a ton of money on car insurance by switching to Geico, right? :)

Mickey D's has always been a responsible advertiser, an excellent corporate neighbor with a strong, community affairs / outreach program. A loyal, dedicated marketer who recognizes the fact that the Black Consumer market consumes their products disproportionate to their representation in the total market.
Kudos to both McDonald's & GEICO!
