Michael Irvin has joined the NFL Network’s 45th Pro Football Hall of Fame induction ceremony coverage on Aug. 2. Irvin will be on-air alongside Fran Charles, Steve Mariucci and Adam Schefter for 7 hours of live, high-definition coverage from Canton, OH.
Coverage will begin at 4 p.m. ET with NFL Total Access 2008 Hall of Fame Pre-Ceremony. The induction ceremony will air at 6 p.m. ET, followed by a FNL Total Access Post-Induction Show at 10 p.m. ET. Inductees Andre Tippett and Darrell Green and Joe Gibbs are scheduled to appear on the Post-Induction Show.
Irvin was inducted into the Hall of Fame last year.
“There’s no better example of true passion for the game and the honor felt by becoming a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame than the emotional induction speech given by Michael last year. We welcome his insights and knowledge as part of our team from Canton,” Eric Weinberger, NFL Network executive producer, said in a statement.
