Ovation Plays Along With ‘Notes From the Road’
Ovation TV is aiming to hit a high note with music fans, announcing the launch of weekly series “Bonefish Grill’s Notes From the Road.” The show will offer glimpses of life on the road, behind-the-scenes footage and candid conversations with bands and artists touring the U.S. this summer.
The series premiere, scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 7, at 8 p.m., will feature indie-electronica band the Bravery. Other artists scheduled for upcoming episodes include 3 Doors Down, Josh Kelley, Gavin DeGraw, Vanessa Carlton, Ben Folds, Jason Mraz and Matisyahu.
“This exciting music series … exemplifies our overall commitment to showcasing great artists, their lives and their work in an intimate, insightful, accessible and highly entertaining manner,” said Kris Slava, senior VP of programming and production for Ovation.
Each week the show will feature a vignette dedicated to the Ocean Trust, a conservation foundation that works to establish public-private partnerships for the sustainability of the oceans.
Starting in September, XM Radio will broadcast each episode on several of its music channels, including Flight 26, Ethel and Starbucks XM Café.
