In Demand Renews Stern Deal
In Demand Networks is extending its deal with Howard Stern to carry Howard TV on Demand through the end of 2010, along with expanding the franchise’s programming slate. The new deal will keep Mr. Stern on In Demand through the rest of his contract with Sirius Radio.
Among the new programs joining the Howard TV roster of uncut and uncensored titles are “Beat the Booey,” “Wack Pack at the Christys’ Farm,” “Killers of Comedy on the Road” and “Wack Pack Bowling,” a continuation of the previous “Bowling Beauties” series. Each of the new shows will run from four to six episodes and will roll out throughout the rest of the year.
Other planned series include the weekly “Best of the Wrap-Up Show” and “Beat of the Year Special 2008,” among other behind-the-scenes shows.
Howard TV on Demand is available to about 24 million viewers through various pay TV services for $13.99 per month.
