Jonas Brothers Turn MTV Streams Into Flood

MTV said Web viewers watched 6 million streams of Jonas Brothers clips, equaling more than 60,000 hours of programming, this past weekend.

MTV streamed video content on the Web and on mobile phones from the band’s promotional tour for its new album.

The network followed day-in-the-life moments such as the brothers eating breakfast, taking a helicopter to a concert and prepping backstage.

MTV said the views were more than its show “The Hills” received online for the season finale. That show garnered 5 million streams during a three-day period following its finale.
