MobiTV Reaches 4 Million Mobile Video Subscribers
Mobile phone television provider MobiTV said it now counts 4 million subscribers to its mobile video programming service. That’s an increase from 3 million customers just 10 months ago.
The rise is due in part to additional content deals the company has inked in the last year, including deals with Disney Channel, ESPN and NBC to carry shows like “The Office” and “30 Rock” on mobile phones that access the MobiTV service.
The MobiTV service launched in November 2003 and is available through carriers including Sprint, AT&T Wireless and Alltel.

Are these 4M subscribers MobiTV's or their carrier partners? I've always been surprised by Mobi's arrogance in claiming that they own the subscribers vs. the carrier who is actually promoting, selling and supporting the service.
