‘Nightline’ to Air Previously Unseen 2004 Obama Interview

Aug 26, 2008  •  Post A Comment

ABC’s “Nightline” will air a never-before-seen interview with Sen. Barack Obama on Wednesday night.
The exclusive interview with Ted Koppel took place hours before the 2004 Democratic National Convention in 2004, at which Sen. Obama made a well-received speech.
Wednesday’s “Nightline” will chronicle Sen. Obama’s journey from the 2004 DNC to his presidential nomination.

  1. Any reason why it was not aired for such along time and just before the convention speech???

  2. Anything for ratings

  3. Thank goodness only about 12 people watch this show. I’m sure this won’t be positive.

  4. Documented proof that “only 12 people watch this show,” wingnut moron. “Nightline” has remained competitive to Leno and Letterman and consistently draws more viewers than Stewart or Colbert. During the WGA strike when Leno and Letterman were away, it was frequently taking its time period, which it often does when major news breaks.
But that’s right–you’re a racist wingnut. We know what your opinion of African-Americans is–what’s your opinion of Latinos, Asian-Americans, Native Americans, Jews, women, gays and lesbians–as if we didn’t already know? And how big is your shrine to your idol Adolf Hitler?

  5. Mark,
Relax man. Take a chill pill. Yes, more than 12 people watch Nightline. Dave obviously isn’t a big fan of the show, but that doesn’t mean he is a racist biggot. Adolf Hitler? Are you kidding? Stop walking around angry everyday and get some therapy.

  6. Oh I am sure it will be positive. The three major networks are like teeage girls with their first crush on Barack.
