NBC is relying on “Chuck”—one of its few new success stories from last season—to help bolster a scripted lineup lead by “Heroes” and “The Office.” The network in the strike-shortened last season remained in fourth place in the ratings. “Chuck” will run Mondays at 8 p.m., opposite “Gossip Girl,” another brainchild of Mr. Schwartz.

Chuck vs the Santa - why couldn't Chuck have rescued Sara while she was being choked by the bad guy? It could have made an interesting ending as Chuck grabbed the gun, got the fulcrom agent off of Sara and shootiing him. Alittle drama with Chucking crying in Sara's shoulder for killing someone. It could have shown that Chuck's feeliings for Sara overcame his good guy persona even if for a moment. Sara could have reacted with more emotion leading to them getting even closer. Hopefully Bryce Larkin is the major character that is killed. This would definitely allow Chuck to move on and Sara to look forward with a slightly more romantic relationship with Chuck. This might also allow John Cassey to become the spoiler between them in a comic fashion.
