Adconion Has Vuguru’s ‘Back’
Online ad network Adconion inked a deal with Michael Eisner’s new-media studio Vuguru to syndicate the media titan’s new Web series “Back on Topps” starting today.
The partnership is part of Adconion’s effort to expand beyond its core ad network business and participate in online video syndication.
Also today, the company is launching a new content distribution service called AMG-TV that lets content creators and studios partner with the publishers and advertisers in Adconion’s network to distribute their programming online, with Mr. Eisner’s show the first to use the service.
As part of this new effort to bring brands and programmers together, Adconion has partnered with Omnicom Digital Media to help its client brands, including McDonald’s, State Farm and FedEx, find branded video content opportunities from Web studios.
Adconion will approach video creators/studios with possible branded entertainment deals.
Adconion said its network of sites reaches more than 240 million unique users each month, according to comScore.
