Cablevision, Lustgarten Foundation Launch ‘curePC’ Campaign

Cablevision and the Lustgarten Foundation are partnering for “curePC,” a public awareness campaign to cure pancreatic cancer.

Cablevision will underwrite all of Lustgarten’s expenses, ensuring that 100% of the money donated will go toward researching a cure.

The company also will use all of its media assets, including its cable TV systems, print publications, Web sites and entertainment venues, to promote awareness of the campaign and of pancreatic cancer.

Marc A. Lustgarten, a former Cablevision vice chairman and chairman of Madison Square Garden, died of pancreatic cancer in 1999.
