Debate Goes Mobile via MobiTV

MobiTV will broadcast tonight’s presidential debate live without commercials beginning at 9 p.m. EDT right to your cell phone.

Tonight’s debate and the other two scheduled for this campaign will be available to MobiTV subscribers on AT&T, Sprint, Alltel and other carriers powered by MobiTV.

Subscribers also can tune in to a variety of other news channels to receive analysis following the debates.

“These kinds of events are extremely relevant to our users, evidenced by the nearly 400% increase in MobiTV’s tune-in to this year’s political conventions, which were also aired live on our service,” Charlie Nooney, chairman and CEO of MobiTV, said in a statement.

MobiTV has more than 4 million subscribers using more than 350 different mobile devices.

It was really good - I mean the mobitv broadcast and while, the debate is ok too. I love mobitv because it has so many channels and it is really "handy" of course.
