Louis C.K. Sets Showtime Special

Showtime will air the latest special from standup comic and frequent “Late Night With Conan O’Brien” guest Louis C.K. in October.

“Louis C.K.: Chewed Up” premieres on the network Oct. 4 at 11 p.m. The special was filmed at Boston’s Berklee Performance Center and is executive produced by the comedian, Dave Becky and Image Entertainment.

Louis C.K. won an Emmy in 1999 as part of the writing team for “The Chris Rock Show.” His sitcom for HBO, “Lucky Louie,” debuted in 2006 and lasted for one season.
