In Depth

Jenna Lee, Fox Business Network Anchor

Background: Ms. Lee got a master’s degree in journalism from Columbia University.

TV News Talent

She worked at the hyper-local NY1 cable channel as a writer for its morning newscast, an associate producer for its nightly political report “Inside City Hall” and a segment producer for its “Fortune Business Report.” She became an anchor and reporter for Forbes.com, for which she did interviews and covered multiple beats. Ms. Lee was one of Fox Business Network’s founding hires in 2007.

Buzz: She was born to compete—her dad is former NFL quarterback Bob Lee—and has a work ethic that was made for TV in this era of roiling economic news. Insiders say Roger Ailes, the Fox News chairman whose track record as a starmaker is a long one that peaks with Bill O’Reilly, is convinced Ms. Lee will be a star.

I am hoping that Roger Ailes is correct. I wish nothing but the best for Jenna. I believe she deserves it, considering her background, and what she had to do to get where she is. Jenna...stay healthy, keep happy, and keep going.

All the best,
Arthur
