Just heard about the Tribute Band Week. I believe that anything is possible, so tell me there is still time to book the best Bob Seger tribute band I've ever heard. These guy are from Michigan not far from Bob's home town of Ann Arbor. If you are interested in hearing a sample of them please go to their My Space website: www.myspace.com/nightmoveslive Name of the Band: Night Moves

Tribute bands suck. If you're going to be a musician, write your own damn music and quit getting paid at the expense of ACTUAL HARD WORKING MUSICIANS!!!
Did Picasso re-paint a DiVinci?
Did Ansel Adams re-shoot Manray?
Has Chuck Palahniuk rewritten Shakespeare??
OF COURSE NOT! CUZ THEY"RE ALL TALENTED!!!
Tribute/cover bands are nothing but bad actors and washed up musicians...
I LOVE Letterman, but a little less after this week.

My favorite band is The Soft Parade, www.thesoftparade.com , a The DOORS cover band. The are so righteous. My favorite band is The Soft Parade, www.thesoftparade.com , a The DOORS cover band. The are so righteous.

My all time favorite band is "APPLE" A TRIBUTE TO THE BEATLES from So. California. You've got to see them. They must be the best on the planet. Of course they have a left handed Paul and the harmonies are voices from angels.

Tribute bands suck. Cmon! Go see the real deal! Do we really need men, dressed in drag, wearing womens wigs, and singing "Pour some sugar on me" for the thousandth time, to women who are old washed up cougars, who could care less how well the music is played, but want to relive their youth and remember the days when they actually could fit into a sexy tight pair of jeans, and were in high school?

Give me a break people. Tribute bands are a disgrace. They actually make the live music scenes worse. Chicago has alot of these bands and it gets quite old. People have no clue what true talent is anymore.
