NBC is tweaking its weekend schedule a bit, shifting "Lipstick Jungle" to an earlier Friday night timeslot and moving desert island drama "Crusoe" to Saturdays.
Starting Friday, Dec. 5, "Jungle" will move to 9 p.m. Fridays, airing an hour earlier than it does now, a NBC spokesman said. "Dateline NBC" returns to Fridays at 10 p.m. the same night.
"Crusoe," currently airing at 9 p.m. Fridays, will shift to 8 p.m. Saturdays on Dec. 6. It's unusual these days for networks to air original scripted programming on Saturdays, but "Crusoe's" low price tag makes the move a bit more palatable. However, NBC has not yet ordered more episodes of the show, and it's ratings so far don’t make it an obvious candidate for renewal.
As for "Lipstick," NBC plans to air original episodes of the show on Dec. 5 and 12, and again on Jan. 9 and 16. The network hasn't ordered more episodes of the series beyond its current run of 13; executives have been non-committal about its future.
The shift to 9 p.m. Fridays marks the third timeslot for "Lipstick" in six weeks.

Lipstick Jungle is a great show and I really NBC continues this show. I watched it when it was on Wednesday and now both time slots on Friday. The casting is great in the show. The stories of the three firends lives interacting is great.

Interesting move with Crusoe. Personally, I think the show sucks; it's cheap price tag shows in the bad writing and acting. That being said, when's the last time a network aired original programming -- other than sports, reality programming, and Disney movies -- on Saturday? It will be interesting to see what happens to the ratings.

Lipstick Jungle is a fabulous show and a real outlet and joy for a working woman. Please do not discontinue this show. The cast is perfect, and the storyline is getting more interesting every episode. It would be an absolute travesty to cancel this show!

I LOVE Lipstick Jungle and have been hooked since the series premiere almost a year ago. PLEASE do not cancel the show!!!!! Also, keep the show in one time slot and give it a chance. As a mother of two I have a hard enough time sitting down to watch TV let alone keeping up the constant schedule change!

Lipstick Jungle is a fabulous show! I'm not sure why it's being cancelled. Everyone that I know absolutely loves it and will be very disappointed when it goes.

i wish nbc would wake up this is the new sex in the city , they need to promote it more and target the sex in t he city age group, all thats on every channel is police shows ans reality and crap, come on people help keep this on the air

Lipstick Jungle is AMAZING and last night proved just how good it will continue to get. The future storylines will be great!
Please continue to send Lipstick to NBC so they know how much fans love the show and want to keep it on the air.

OMG! I hope NBC doesn't cancel Lipstick Jungle! Why do all of the networks cancel all the good shows and keep the bad ones? If they cancel this and fill the time slot with another stupid reality show I think I will go back to BOOKS!

I SSSSSOOOOOO Love Lipstick Jungle....it is the highlight of my week... I hope you keep showing it!!!!! It seems like any show I acually like gets canceled!!!! Please don't end this so soon... it was just getting good!!!! The story line you have going on right now is amazing and you can do sssooooo much with it!!! Advertize more!!! People will watch!!! And to all of the other fans... tell all your friends to watch as well...

I guess I'm in the minority. I love Crusoe -- it just gets better and better. But I'm afraid its days are numbered. Too bad!
As for Lipstick Jungle, good riddance! Idiotic show! Not even remotely in the same class as Sex and the City. Cashmere Mafia was much better, though it lasted only 7 episodes.

I love Lipstick Jungle and I watch it every week. I watched in on Wed night and I'll watch it on Friday night no matter what time it comes on. I really hope NBC decides to go forward with a third season.

CRUSOE...Friday nights! Finally NBC puts on a quality show at a FAMILY-HOUR that is FUN for the FAMILY.....and then plans to pull it? What ever happened to the networks taking pride in producing shows that bring families TOGETHER around the TV. YES! IT IS TIME FOR A CHANGE...back to family values...and families spending time together... even if it is for quality-wholesome-fun TV entertainment! Have some patience NBC and promote Crusoe as the fun FAMILY-QUALITY show it is!

PLEASE, PLEASE don't cancel Lipstick Jungle!!!!! I love it and stop moving it around. I can't believe you have that awful biggest loser show in prime time and not Lipstick Jungle. NBC is a loser if they don't understand what a great show LJ is. Please keep Lipstick Jungle on the air. It is one of the few shows that I look forward to every week and hate it when it is over. Good story line, interesting people and lots of talk over the water cooler at work. Please don't start moving it around from night to night just let it stand on its own. Lots of people I know are loving the show. A few years of this is a good thing!!
