Cablevision Promotes Frey to EVP

Cablevision Systems Corporation has promoted Barry Frey to executive VP of advanced platform sales.

Mr. Frey previously served as a senior VP. He will continue to manage the advanced platform sales division while also working with advertisers to help drive sales for interactive TV products and video on-demand.

“Barry has built our advanced advertising sales business from its inception, enabling Cablevision to lead the industry by creating transformative and ground breaking agreements with major marketers utilizing our proprietary ITV, VOD, online and linear platforms,” David Kline, president and COO of Rainbow Advertising Sales Corporation, said in a statement.

Before joining Cablevision, Mr. Frey held senior sales and marketing positions with the National Basketball Association, Crown Media and USA Network.

Mr. Frey will continue to report to Mr. Kline in his new position.
