NBCU Reteams With MSN, Microsoft for 2010 Olympics
NBC Universal is reteaming with Microsoft and MSN to re-create “NBCOlympics.com on MSN” for the 2010 Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver, British Columbia.
The online destination will complement NBC’s broadcast coverage with live and on-demand video, analysis and results powered by MSN and Microsoft’s Silverlight technology.
NBCOlympics.com content will be featured on the MSN.com homepage and on MSN Video, as well as across MSN and Windows Live networks, during the Vancouver Games.
“For the Beijing Olympics, Microsoft Silverlight technology set the standard by helping deliver the most dynamic online viewing experience to date,” Gary Zenkel, president of NBC Olympics, said in a statement. “With the Vancouver version of NBCOlympics.com on MSN, we plan to raise the bar even higher.”
