Travel Channel President Younge Departing
Patrick Younge will be leaving his post as president and general manager of the Travel Channel, effective January 2010.
Mr. Younge said he’d been planning since 2007 to return to London when his youngest child entered high school there. His plans were known by senior management of parent company Cox and top staffers at Travel channel.
“They also know they can rely on me to continue to give this business 100% through year-end to ensure our upfront commitments are delivered and there is a smooth handover to my eventual successor,” Mr Younge said a statement.
