Larry King may be staying on longer than anticipated, according to TVNewser. A source told the television news blog that the 74-year-old host has agreed to extend his contract with CNN for an extra year, which would keep “Larry King Live” on-air until 2010. Speculation about the contract change came after the New York Times reported Katie Couric might be eyeing King’s job after her own contract expires. CNN declined to comment on contract specifics, but a said through a representative, “Larry is the best there is, he’ll be here for a long time.”
