Pressure on SAG as Talks Resume

After rival union AFTRA reached a deal with the major studios, it will be tough for the Screen Actors Guild to get a much better agreement for its members, Daily Variety says. SAG’s current agreement expires at the end of the month, but the union hasn’t asked its members to vote to authorize a strike.

  1. SAG needs to get serious about closing a deal now. This should have been resolved months ago, rightt after the WGA strike ended. What are they trying to prove?
