Monday was a bloody day on Wall Street, but it was the best day ever for CNBC, TVNewser reports. The business network enjoyed the highest viewership in its history when an average of 726,000 total viewers tuned in during Business Day, from 5 a.m. to 7 p.m. EDT. The number crushes CNBC’s best week ever, the week of Sept. 15, when the network averaged 502,000 total viewers. Every CNBC program during Business Day showed growth, including “Fast Money,” “Street Signs” and “Squawk Box.”
